Who We Are

Serenity Recovery Connection envisions a community that understands, supports, and embraces recovery from addiction. We believe there are many roads to recovery.

Serenity Recovery Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Recovery Community Organization. SRC’s mission is to strengthen the recovery community through peer-to-peer and family support, public education, and advocacy.

We are community-based citizens, in long-term recovery, who want to educate, mentor, and advocate for recovery solutions. We support all roads to recovery.

What Is A Recovery Community Organization?

Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs)  are central hubs for recovery-focused policy efforts,  advocacy activities, community education and outreach programs.  RCOs are demonstrating leadership in their towns, cities and states as well as on the national landscape. Many are also providing peer-based recovery support services. While RCOs are independent, they share a recovery vision. They aim to serve as a bridge between diverse communities of recovery, addiction treatment community, governmental agencies, the criminal justice system, and the larger network of health and human services providers.
