Recovery Hero: Rob Decker

Hi, my name is Rob Decker. I just got 8 years of sobriety as of January 8th! I’m so proud of all I have accomplished. I learned how to walk again, got off drugs and alcohol, got married and had beautiful babies and reconnected with my oldest son, became a fitness trainer and recovery coach, became a speaker and an author. A low point for me was My suicide attempt that left me with false rape and murder charges”, a broken back, arms and collapsed lung and 2 million dollars in medical bills. Today I give back by working for LifeStance as a Peer Substance Abuse Coach, health and fitness trainer (I run a gym out of my home), I share my story at churches, conferences and events, I also mentor young men.
