Recovery Hero: Dan Hugill

My name is Dan Hugill and I have been in recovery for 6 years. Since July 23rd 2014. During that time my accomplishments include working for the Phoenix and through them becoming a state certified peer specialist. I received the crossfit level 2 certification, the olympic lifting level 1, NASM youth exercise specialist certification and my tai chi chuan certification. I got married, I am buying my second house, and have a 1 year old son. I have also been back training Shaolin for a year now. Life is amazing.Prior to recovery my low point was being on the run from the cops while drinking every waking moment and being an IV drug user. In 2014 I was sentenced to 12 years in prison when they got me.

Today to be of service and give back to the community I am going to share my physical side of recovery and fitness with several groups of people
