Hi, my name is Tony, I have been in recovery since 2014

My biggest accomplishment during this time is my 6-year-old daughter Harlow.

Prior to recovery, my lowest point was when I was unemployed, couch surfing, and stealing from people. I was hurting those closest to me, making it impossible to maintain relationships with my friends and family members. Once I went to treatment and sober living, things started to get back on track for me.

Today I give back to my community by contributing to my sober living house and being the Colorado Springs Chapter 12 meeting chair. I assist with placement for sober living for peers recently released from incarceration, volunteer at SRC, and hope to become a peer recovery coach. I simply try to be of service whenever possible, by chairing meetings and support groups and in any other ways I am needed.
