Recovery Hero Carla Ruiz

My name is Carla Ruiz, and I have been in recovery for about 14 months. During this time, I am most proud of the fact that I have been able to repair some relationships with my family. I have also been able to maintain employment successfully. The lowest point for me before recovery was becoming homeless. Today I am paying it forward as a way of giving back to those in need.
