Recovery Hero Amy

My name is Amy Nicole Crabtree and I have been in recovery for 10 years although my most recent sober date is 11/10/21. I am a professional singer who has struggled with alcohol addiction throughout my life. During my time in recovery i am most proud of my ability to pull myself out of a place of trauma and loss, and I am also proud that I was able to make myself available to be of service to those who are struggling with substance use disorder.

The low point for me was when I lost my son in June of 2020 in a drunk driving accident. I wasn’t sure I could make it through that horrific situation, but here I am. Today I have been working with the SRC family reaching out to those in need of support. I’m also able to connect some of these individuals to resources and help them to find their path to recovery and wellness!
