My name is Ghislaine Henley. I have been in recovery since August of 1986.

I have been privileged to be part of the raising of two drug addicts/alcoholics who have become fully functioning and contributing members of society.

My lowest point was Christmas 2010 when I had to kick both sons out of the house due to heroine addiction and knowing that they had no place to live.

Today I am a grateful member of Alanon and help other members. I also support various charities. I am working to break the cycles of generational dysfunction in our immediate family by working on myself in ACA.
