Community Conversations: Turning Ideas Into Action

Discussion is the foundation of meaningful ideas—and the place where real, community-driven change begins. Serenity Recovery Connection (SRC) is launching Community Conversations, a new public forum focused on practical strategies and collaborative solutions to today’s recovery and community health challenges.

Our first event, Community Conversation: What Medication-Assisted Recovery Is, Why It Matters, and Empowering Choice, will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at SRC.

This engaging, educational discussion will explore medication-assisted recovery (sometimes called medication-assisted treatment), recovery-informed decision-making, and resilience-building through multiple perspectives, including:

  • Dr. Ryan Cole, Achieve Whole Recovery, shares evidence-based insights on medication-assisted recovery and its role in modern recovery support
  • Rachel Fowler, Director of Training and Professional Development at SRC, is introducing an innovative, people-centered approach to building resilience during periods of change
  • Frank Montesano, Outreach and Program Manager at SRC
  • Dylan Stokes, Overdose Prevention and Outreach Event Coordinator at SRC

Lunch will be provided at no cost.  Registration is required to attend. As a thank-you for registering, participants will be entered into a drawing for any training, or combination of trainings, valued up to $500.

Your voice matters. Whether you are a community leader, partner organization, family member, policymaker, or concerned community member, we invite you to join the conversation and help shape the path forward.
